March was a powerful reminder that dialogue remains at the heart of Kenya’s democratic journey.
At the 8th People Dialogue Festival (PDF) 2026, held under the theme “Building a Collaborative Democracy for Kenya’s Sustainable Future,” Act! joined citizens, civil society, state and non-state actors, and partners in shaping conversations on governance, inclusion, accountability, and sustainable development.
The Festival, hosted by Centre For Multiparty Democracy, offered rich side events and dialogues that deepened reflection on the role of collaboration in strengthening democratic processes and fostering social cohesion.
Throughout the Festival, our exhibition booth, courtesy of the Embassy of Denmark in Kenya, served as a vibrant space for engagement — showcasing our work on democratic governance, civic engagement, and digital inclusion, with a strong emphasis on the gendered dimensions of digital political participation. We connected with diverse stakeholders, exchanged ideas, and amplified the voices driving change at community and national levels.
As we close the month, we carry forward renewed energy and commitment to advancing inclusive participation, strengthening partnerships, and building a more collaborative democracy for Kenya’s sustainable future.
