Strengthening Partnerships for Electoral Integrity and Democratic Governance

As Kenya advances towards the 2027 General Election, strong partnerships among democratic institutions, civil society, and governance actors will be critical to safeguarding electoral integrity and strengthening citizens’ trust.
With support from the Embassy of Sweden in Nairobi through the Reformed Elections for Enhanced Democracy and Inclusion (REDI) Programme, Act! hosted the Office of The Registrar of Political Parties (ORPPKenya) for a strategic engagement to deepen collaboration and identify opportunities for joint action.
The discussions underscored the importance of harnessing digital innovation, strategic communications, and coordinated stakeholder engagement to enhance citizen participation, strengthen transparency and accountability, and support peaceful, inclusive, and credible electoral processes.
As the electoral cycle gains momentum, sustained collaboration and shared responsibility will be essential to building resilient democratic institutions and creating an enabling environment for meaningful citizen engagement.
We look forward to continuing our collaboration with ORPP and other like-minded institutions in advancing democratic governance and electoral integrity. Together, we can strengthen the foundations of democracy and contribute to a more inclusive and accountable electoral future for Kenya!
Stay tuned for more updates as we roll out joint initiatives and engagements.
