The Resilience, Peace & Stability (RPS) Program, funded by Embassy of Denmark in Kenya, concluded its five-year journey with a transformative End of Program Learning Event & Close-Out Workshop at Machakos County.
Since its inception in 2021, RPS has worked across 15 conflict-affected counties, addressing political tensions, resource-based conflicts, and violent extremism through innovative, inclusive, and community-driven approaches.
The three-day event brought together a strong delegation from the Royal Danish Embassy (RDE), whose steadfast support made the five-year Program possible. Their engagement reinforced the central role of partnerships in strengthening peace and resilience across Kenya.
The RPS Learning Event also brought together strategic partners, downstream partners, county actors, CSOs, peace committees, and youth/women leaders whose collaboration, innovation, and commitment turned RPS objectives into real, measurable community impact.
As we close the Program, we celebrate not just the milestones achieved, but the powerful ecosystem of partners who worked tirelessly in conflict-affected communities to prevent violence, empower youth and women, address climate-security challenges, and strengthen community–government relations.
With shared insights, renewed energy, and cross-partner solidarity, we now look toward a stronger, more adaptive, more inclusive chapter grounded in evidence, community voice, and collective action.
The next chapter promises deeper impact, smarter approaches, and even greater collaboration!
