Ngei Street Sports Hub Groundbreaking Ceremony

Through the Resilience, Peace and Stability (RPS) Program, funded by Embassy of Denmark in Kenya, Act! was proud to support the Ngei Street Sports Hub Groundbreaking Ceremony held today at Ngei Primary School, organized by GAME. The event marks a major milestone in empowering young people and communities through sports; fostering peace, inclusion, and social cohesion. The event was graced by Stephan Schönemann , Danish Ambassador to Kenya; Tom Were, CEO of Act!; MIDRIFT HURINET; Amani Kibera; the National Cohesion and Integration Commission; and community leaders and partners who reaffirmed their shared commitment to transforming public spaces into platforms for unity and growth. From street sports demonstrations and tree planting to vibrant cultural performances, the day celebrated the power of collaboration and community spirit. The symbolic groundbreaking of the Ngei Street Sports Hub marks the start of a transformative journey; turning Ngei Primary into a space where young people can connect, grow, and lead positive change. Act! remains dedicated to working with partners to create safe, inclusive spaces that inspire the next generation of changemakers!
