The Resilience Peace and Stability (RPS) Program, funded by Embassy of Denmark in Kenya and Somalia, brought together GAME, MIDRIFT HURINET, Amani Kibera and Act! to host a Youth-Focused Project Planning Meeting in Nairobi. Young leaders and implementing partners strategized on the “Scaling Peacebuilding through Youth-Led Street Sports” Initiative, reflecting on past successes and setting new goals. Youth voices were at the center of every discussion.
Participants shared insights, planned activities, and strengthened their capacity in monitoring and evaluation. With the introduction of a new Game Reporter system, youth voices are set to resonate even louder, amplifying their impact!
Through the RPS Program’s Youth-Led Street Sports Initiative, we are equipping young people with the tools to become peace champions in their communities. As they finalize work plans for May and June, these youth leaders are committed to using sports as a platform for dialogue, mentorship, and positive change. Stay tuned for more!
