Fifteen years since its promulgation, the Constitution of Kenya 2010 remains the cornerstone of our democracy, justice, and human rights. Yet, its promise continues to face persistent threats; from erosion of constitutional gains, systemic governance challenges, to violations of rights and dignity. This year, under the theme “Arise and Defend – Inuka Uilinde”, Act! together with other progressive partners, joins Kenyans in reflecting on our collective journey of constitutionalism. The celebration is not just about looking back, it is about confronting present challenges, amplifying citizen voices, and shaping a united roadmap for the future. Together, we reaffirm our commitment to defend the spirit of Katiba—the supreme law of our land.
